Cardiac Rehabilitation
The cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program at Doctor’s hospital is designed to assist patients during the healing phase following a cardiac event or surgery. The program also specializes in restrictive and obstructive pulmonary diseases. Our professional team of physicians, nurses, exercise physiologists and registered respiratory therapists structure specific plans for each patient to help them achieve a high quality of life through positive lifestyle exercise training, nutritional counseling, medication education, stress management and smoking cessation. We provide a large variety of modern exercise equipment, free weights and an indoor walking track. The program consists of three one-hour sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for twelve weeks. Pulmonary classes are held for one hour each day. After the successful completion of the course, our Maintenance Program offers patients the chance to continue utilizing familiar equipment and our dedicated, knowledgeable staff.
