Chief Executive Officer

Scott Manis is an accomplished executive with over 30 years of health care experience.  Prior to joining Doctors Hospital, he was Chief Operating Officer of St. Mary’s Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL, and held numerous executive positions with Valley Baptist Health System, Harlingen, Texas.  He earned his master’s degree in health care administration from Trinity University, San Antonio, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  Scott is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Charles Williams, Chief Operating Office, Doctors Hospital at White Rock LakeCharles Williams

Charles Williams has held a variety of hospital leadership positions at several organizations in the Metroplex over the last 12 years. Most recently, he was vice president of operations at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth. Charles holds an MBA from UT Arlington and a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Texas Women’s University. He is also a fellow of the American College of HealthCare Executives and a member of the National Association of Health Service Executives.

Roger Hutchins has more than 30 years of financial health care experience. In his current position, he is in charge of the hospital’s accounting, information systems, registration, and health information, case, and materials management functions. His background includes serving in positions of increasing responsibility at HCA hospitals in Texas as well as other free-standing facilities in Missouri. Roger received a B.B.A. from Washburn University and M.B.A. from the University of Missouri.


Denise Krajewski, CNO, Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake

Chief Nursing Officer

Denise Krajewski has held numerous leadership roles, and most recently served in a dual role as chief nursing officer for Metropolitan Methodist Hospital and division Chief Nurse Executive for the Methodist/HCA 10 hospital system in San Antonio, TX. She received her B.S. degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix and her M.S. in Nursing/Business Administration from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She is a tenured college faculty member and has published several articles and research projects in national healthcare journals.

Eric Boon, Director of Business Development, Doctors Hospital

Eric Boon is responsible for developing and implementing business initiatives and marketing strategies, building and maintaining relationships with physicians, employers, and other customers, and promoting a positive public image of the hospital both internally and externally. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Southern Methodist University.

 

Marlene Urbach, Chief Human Resources Officer, Doctors Hospital

Marlene Urbach has worked at the hospital since 1982 in various Human Resources roles including Recruiter, HR Generalist and Assistant HR Director.   She has been the HR leader since 2000.  Marlene graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Human Resources Management.  She also attended Kent State University and Richland College.  She has been an active member of the Dallas Fort Worth Healthcare Human Resources Association having served as president and board member.

Michelle, Castro, Chief Compliance Officer, Doctors Hospital

Michelle Castro
Compliance and Privacy Officer

Michelle Castro worked locally as an attorney with an international law firm and later served as in-house counsel at a national insurance company before joining Doctors Hospital.  She earned her juris doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School and her bachelor of science degree from Trinity University in San Antonio.
