Postpartum Suites
The postpartum suites are decorated with a soothing color scheme designed for new mothers recovering from childbirth. New moms and family have access to free Wi-Fi access.

Neonatal Intensive Care (Level II NICU)
Giving birth to a sick or premature baby can be quite unexpected for any parent. The level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) provides high-risk care for babies should the need arise. The NICU combines advanced technology and trained health care professionals who provide tailored care for specific needs. Most babies admitted to the NICU are premature (born before 37 weeks of gestation), have a low birth weight, experienced difficulties during delivery or show signs of a problem shortly after birth. The length of time babies spend in the NICU depends on the severity of their conditions.

Aetna Award for Early Elective Delivery Infant Safety Programs
Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake has met qualifications for recognition by Aetna for their Early Elective Delivery Infant Safety program for facilities that have demonstrated their commitment to infant safety by establishing safety guidelines for elective deliveries prior to 39 weeks and have implemented a quality improvement program.
