WHEN WOUNDS HEAL, SO CAN THE WHOLE PERSON.
When a wound won’t heal, a person’s entire quality of life is disrupted. In some cases, persons may be at greater risk for infection or complications.
The caring, compassionate team of physicians, nurses and staff at Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake created the Wound & Vein Center to help.
The Center provides precise diagnosis and proper treatment for all kinds of wounds -- natural, injury-related and post-surgical. With the sole purpose of advanced wound care, our team offers the healing touch.
No wound is too minor or too serious for our physicians to treat. Each needs unique care and attention. Because our physicians are also surgeons, our center is able to offer quality, specialized care. We provide a personalized treatment plan to minimize pain and discomfort and expedite healing.

WOUND ASSESSMENT

A comprehensive wound evaluation includes assessment of infection, nutritional status and vascular supply. We also evaluate the patient’s understanding of and ability to care for their wounds and help arrange home care.
