We Feel Your Pain. We Heal Your Pain.

Pain takes away too much enjoyment from life. The Pain Center, an outpatient program, helps take away as much pain as possible and keep it under control. All pain is not the same, and neither are the treatments. We understand how pain affects all aspects of your life and how difficult it can to discuss it with others.

The Pain Center is staffed by a specially trained team of clinical technicians and nurses offer expert evaluation and advanced, individualized treatment.

Our specialists listen and carefully investigate symptoms to diagnose your problem. Though the causes of pain are numerous, the goal is always the same--to manage and minimize each patient’s pain. We work to free patients from discomfort to lead pain- free lives.

Here are some procedures that can be used to control pain.

  • Nerve Blocks Pain relief can be achieved by temporarily interfering with a nerve or nerve root function.
  • Epidural Steroid Injections Local anesthetic and cortisone is injected into the space surrounding the spinal cord and nerves.
  • Facet Blocks Numbs and soothes inflammation, which helps isolate and diagnose the source of pain.
  • Joint Injections Anti-inflammatory medicines delivered directly to a painful joint.
  • Trigger Point Injections Alleviates myofascial pain syndrome involving tissue that surrounds muscle.
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator This implanted electric impulse device creates a tingling sensation which alters perception of pain.
  • Narcotic Pain Pump A device inserted under the skin of the abdomen to deliver medication directly to spinal cord.
  • Sympathetic Blocks Injections near sympathetic nerves in the lumbar or cervical area to temporarily reduce or eliminate pain.
  • Neurolytic Blocks Freezing neural structures involved in the perception of pain to promote long lasting analgesia.
  • Medication Management In partnership with a pharmacist, promotes the safe, effective use of medication to achieve targeted outcomes.
